Project: Isle of Wight College

Hillcrest undertook the manufacture and erection of structural steelwork for the new technology college in Ryde, Isle of Wight.

This consisted of two buildings. An education block, which was constructed over 2 floors and a workshop, which comprised portal framed structure of varying lengths and widths. The education block was designed by Pick Everard, but Hillcrest undertook the whole design for the workshop building.

Hillcrest also supplied and installed the metal floor and roof decking to the education block on this contract.
