Project: Basingstoke Fire Station

The new station was located on the current site. Kier demolished the existing station after a temporary building was created adjacent to the site. As this was a “live” station, it created logistical issues for our team and the Main Contractor.

The main feature of this project was the 30 metre long, 2 metre deep truss, which was installed over the appliance (fire engine) bay doors.
